Royal Refuse is a family owned and operated garbage and recycling company. In 1977 Dave & Dolores Bales saw the need for a commercial garbage company that would respond promptly to the customers special needs. Since that time, along with their sons, Scott & Brian, the company has grown to over 1800 customers. The success of Royal Refuse is due to the fact that they treat their customers the way they want to be treated. Royal Refuse is reliable in their pick up schedules, keeping the dumpsters respectable, cleaning the area around the dumpster and being readily available for any unique circumstances that may arise.

Royal Refuse started as a commercial hauler, servicing dumpsters and drop boxes for business and construction sites. Since that time Royal has developed the recycling portion of the business to accommodate any size customer, large or small. Royal was the first company to offer recycling services for apartment complexes and condominiums. Royal Refuse customizes a recycling program for each customer who wants to participate in this environmentally sound program.

By 1995, Eugene had experienced the consolidation of numerous smaller residential hauling companies by a larger company. At this time Royal Refuse decided to enter the residential market and service homes within Royal's commercial operating area.
